Daniel completed his podiatry degree in 2005 at Auckland University of Technology.
He has worked extensively in private practice for 9 years with exposure to all facets of podiatry.
His main clinical specialty consists of orthotic therapy, treatment and management of foot, ankle and leg pain. For 6 years he owned and operated his own private practice in Nelson Bay, NSW and for the last 18 months was appointed as Head Podiatrist and Director of Operations for Safe & Heathy People Pty Ltd.
A podiatrist works and specializes more on disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. They will treat sprains, strains, and broken bones, ankle, and lower limb conditions, foot injuries, heel pain, foot pain, plantar dermatosis, nail conditions lie nail infections and ingrown nails, plantar fasciitis, chronic ulcers, nerve damage or neuropathy, flat feet, inflammation due to arthritis, loss of sensation in the foot, skin discoloration, numbness in the foot, etc.
Whereas orthopedists work more on musculoskeletal disorders that affect the entire body. They will treat disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, hand and wrist injuries, neck and back pain, chronic muscle pain, sports injuries, bursitis, fractures, etc
