Dr Joel completed his Primary Medical training and Post Graduate training in Internal Medicine in India.
He further trained in Oncology, Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics in the UK and worked as a GP in Liverpool, England for 8 years.
A member of the Royal College of Physicians and General Practitioners, United Kingdom as well as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Joel is actively involved in teaching and training medical and post graduate students.
