Initially trained in South Africa, Jina has worked as a clinical psychologist in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Jina works in partnership with her clients, delivering evidence-based treatment programs, tailored to the needs of the individual or family.

Jina is trained to treat clients presenting with diverse challenges including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, behavioral problems, anger issues, attachment (bonding) difficulties, stress, family conflict and life cycle challenges, bullying, managing life transitions, parent-child conflict, trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, difficulties with emotion regulation, high shame and self-criticism, parenting challenges, emotional dysregulation, and general life improvement challenges.
Jina has a keen interest in Compassionate Mind Training and other Mindfulness Practices, utilizing many of the skills and strategies she has learned over the years in her own life. Jina has a personal mindfulness practice and enjoys attending silent retreats as a way of nourishing her well-being.
Jina provides treatment under the Medicare Better Access Scheme for those who are referred with a Mental Health Care Plan by a GP. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and are charged at a rate of $210.00. Medicare contributes $129.00 of this fee, leaving a $81 gap fee payable by the client. Upon prior arrangement sessions may be bulk billed or provided at a reduced cost for those experiencing financial hardship. No GP referral is required for those who prefer to pay for their sessions privately.
