Areas of experience
Kevin’s background in clinical psychology means that he is experienced in working with depression, anxiety, trauma and mood related difficulties and specialises in working with adults of all ages and older adolescents. He also has a particular interest in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse and helping them come to terms with their experiences so that they can improve their sense of self-worth and break out of patterns of self- destructive relationships and behaviours.
Kevin is a skilled clinical psychologist as he has received specialist training in several clinical approaches to counselling and holds an honours degree in systemic counselling, a masters degree in psycho-dynamic psychotherapy and post-graduate training and supervision in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
